Jody started to practice yoga at age 14 in 1972 and ended up in Kashmir in 1977 where she met the last in the lineage of the great non-dual tantric tradition of Kashmir Shaivism. Tantra is a tradition of the arising of experience (qualia) in the moment. It is a playful and freeing experience that is both sensual and sensory in nature.
Jody became a sports agent at IMG in her mid-20's, Her clients were mostly runners and did business with Jackie Joyner Kersee, Flo Jo and represented Ben Johnson, Zola Budd, Bill Rogers, Rob DeCastella, Willie Banks, and others. Jody did book, TV and licensing deals, launched multiple products with her clients and raising sponsorship dollars for major sporting events.
In 2002, Jody launched PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics, a eco-green cosmetics line that gives donations to urgent human rights issues. PeaceKeeper sold across the USA, launching in Henri Bendels, Fred Segal, Nordstrom and hundreds of upscale and natural food stores. The brand won "Finalist" Best Lipstick of the Year along with Prada, Sheisado and Estee Lauder at CEW.
